no teaching today… spring break.

blogging on my lunch break

daydreaming about my magical weekend:

i went to a 2-day salon on saturday and sunday

and performed, listened and shared live music and words with artists i admire-

justin bond, michael cunningham, glen hansard, marketa irglova,

nadia sirota, nico muhly, jason shears, joyce dewitt, michael stipe…

i felt so lucky to be in the presence of these magical people

with no critics or cameras. just enjoying the moment.

i’m hesitant to even blog about it,

but typing is another way of remembering…

this city is pure magic.
