thanksgiving evening

riding the train home, a man sat next to me.

“can i pound that tonight? i’ll take your legs and wrap them around my head.”

i laughed and said “no, thanks.”

“you can sit on my face!”

again, “no, thanks. Happy Thanksgiving.”

I was talking to Dan Ratcliffe (ahem, name-dropping) earlier this evening,

who was missing his home- London.

When he asked me what I thought the biggest difference between London and New York is,

I replied: “The men are much more respectful in London.

In New York, they will tell you exactly what they want to do with you sexually… with no shame.

Or they’ll tell you what they think of your look. ‘Big girl!’ ‘Blondie!’ ‘Damn, woman!’”

Dan was shocked. Men would never think of disrespecting a woman on the street in London.

Having just spent a month there myself, the worst I came across was:

“Hey honey…” then looking me up and down and up again, “You alright?”

Ok, I’ll admit. Sometimes I enjoy the attention.

But mostly, the attention is getting old.

Even in my social circles,

I often feel like a pass-around-party-toy.

The gays love a tranny, but they’ll leave you before you can say ‘amen’
if a hot guy comes along.

(I should know… I used to be one.)
I suppose I should start meeting more men who are interested in women.

Perhaps this is my biological clock ticking.
